The client is a leading distributor of retail and wholesale hardware products in Saudi Arabia with headquarters in Riyadh. The venture offers 45,000 varieties of products across its 31 stores in 12 cities and employs 1500 people.
The Challenge
The vast business network and volume of transactions demanded swift and seamless transactions on mobile application. The existing IT architecture built on, on-premise infrastructure was not scalable as per client’s business requirements. Also, the environment was vulnerable to accessibility issues, including delayed response and high runtime. Rising data breach during the pandemic sounded an alert to move to a secure architecture.
The Solution
Cloud4C deployed the infrastructure for the mobile application on AWS with stringent security, high availability and scalability for end user delight. The team implemented IT Modernization through PaaS and deployed auto scaling EC2 and multi A-Z RDS for production workloads. Additionally, the team focused on AWS S3 - Simple Storage Service and Identity Access Management (IAM) for stringent security.
