The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) provides affordable, sustainable housing and financing solutions for Emirati citizens in United Arab Emirates (UAE). They ensure quality of life through various initiatives and solutions. They also administer vital public services, including housing loans, project/ asset management, and citizen welfare programs, using its flagship ISKAN application, advancing the nation’s housing goal.
MBRHE’s core application foundation was fragmented – with Oracle DBs running on-prem and the ISKAN application layer on Azure - which increased operational difficulty and strain due to overperformance as activities inflated. Latency dangers started to showcase in priority workflows and splintered architecture restricted the enterprise’s efforts for data innovation. These modernization attempts had to meet stringent public sector governance standards. All while ensuring that citizen services stay live without any disruption.
Partnering with Cloud4C, MBRHE executed a first-ever migration of Oracle Database on Azure in MEA via Exadata. This modernized platform ensured that architecture is unified and simplified for effectiveness, enhances application performance and creates an advanced and robust foundation for digitized citizen services. They ensured continuity, compliance, and operational continuity throughout the change and a unified base that allowed integration with Azure native AI, ML, and analytics for data-powered innovation.
